A few words about us...
The west Bengal joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed as west Bengal Board of Examination for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges in the year 1962, born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges of the State of West Bengal. The basic purpose was to select candidates for consideration for admission to the State Colleges on the basis of the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number of entrance tests.

Allotment of Examination Centre

A candidate will be allotted an Examination Centre near his/her school/college (as declared in the Application Form) from which he/she passed/appeared/will appear in the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
A candidate wishing to appear from an examination centre near to his/her residential address should apply to the Registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board within 31st January 2012, clearly stating the reason(s) for the same.
The application can be:

  1. Mailed to the Registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, through speed post only. The mailing address is:

AQ-13/1, Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700091.

  1. Sent to the following mailbox:  wbjeeb@gmail.com

The decision of the Board in the allotment process shall be the final. The centre allotted will be printed on the admit card issued to the candidate.
